Fernando GalvezFernando Galvez, P.E., RCDD, CTM (AZ SBTR License Number 23911) is Principal and President of Monrad Engineering, Inc.  Fernando has 45 years of experience (38 years with the firm) in electrical engineering.  A graduate of the University of Arizona with a BSEE, Fernando is a registered professional engineer in Arizona and Nevada. He is also a Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) with extensive experience in audio-visual, security, access control, CCTV, instrusion detection, CATV, and telecommunications systems for smaller and multi-million dollar projects. Fernando is past President of ACEC AZ, past President of The Cornerstone Building Foundation, past President of SAAEMA, past President of ASPE, and an active board member of the Lohse Family YMCA.

 
Chris MonradChristian K. Monrad, P.E., LEED AP (AZ SBTR License Number 37386) is Principal and Vice President of Monrad Engineering, Inc.  Chris has more than 40 years of experience (34 years with the firm) in electrical systems construction, estimating, engineering, design and construction phase administration.  He is a registered professional engineer in Arizona, New Mexico, California, and Pennsylvania and is active in the International Dark-Sky Association as two-time President of the Board and is a past president of the Southern Arizona Section of IESNA. Chris is the firm's designated U.S. Green Building Council representative and is a LEED Accredited Professional. Chris was on the Board of Directors of the International Dark-Sky Association for more than 21 years and is an expert in "dark sky friendly" exterior lighting applications to minimize off-site glare and skyglow, while providing high performance energy-efficient lighting designs that instill a safe, secure and attractive aesthetic.
